Slip Dresses Now Featured at Dear Lizzie!

Remember my post about the amazing boutique Dear Lizzie??

The owner, Laura took every last slip dress that I had made and gave me more orders than I can handle!

They are having a big Christmas Open House on Monday and all of her staff are going to wear the slip dresses! They wanted to do that to show them off to customers (I can't think of any cuter models in the entire universe to show off my creations!)
My slip dresses are going to be sold along side the other amazing lines she carries including Juicy Couture and Bella Note Linens!

Is that enough exclamation points?!?!?!?! Can you tell I'm really excited about this?!?!?!?!

I am going to be busy, busy, busy with my trusty sewing machine to fill the requests, but Abigail's will be open regular hours on Friday & Saturday 12-6pm.

I will also have some great new furniture pieces that I picked up in Salt Lake City.

And our door should be fixed by Saturday!!!!!

(For those of you who read this blog from out of town, our very old ornately carved door has been broken, and I have been stubbornly resistant to getting an ugly new knob, so my customers have had to knock whenever they want to get in until I can have someone rework the spring: I know, I know, really ghetto.)

Abigial's Invades the Pocatello Co-op Christmas Event

Yesterday, Abigail's participated in the Pocatello Co-op Christmas Event. We brought some of our new jewelry, bags, and vintage upcycled slip dresses. Our best seller was the scrabble tile pendants I made for our in-store Black Friday Giveaway.

The slips were a big crowd favorite! Overall, I would say they were a HIT! Many ladies tried them on, had fun searching for sizes. There was much interest in custom orders.

The Co-op was the perfect spot for a Christmas show. I love the atmosphere and the vibe there. I will definitely be back there. I already started planning what I want to do for the Valentine's Day and Mother's Day shows there.

As some of you might know, the Co-op is struggling financially. If you haven't visited the Co-op, go check it out! They have everything healthy and organic you can think of. Like many locally owned small businesses, they need support from people like us in order to survive!

Other vendors sold awesome handmade and crafted items. My favorites were Evelyn's Canned Goods, Sheri Covert with her beautiful jewelry, teeny felted animals, original houseplants (some were planted in lava rocks!), Jessica Fueschel with her soldered jewelry, hand-crocheted hats and scarves, and much more. I'm so glad I got to participate.

Enjoy sleeping in this weekend, we open at noon! For our first 25 customers, we even have a special gift. That's right, it's free!

We will have other fun sales and promotions that day, so put us on your day after Thanksgiving list (right after eating leftovers and lounging in comfy clothes all day).

New Jewelry

These are some of the new jewelry pieces I've ordered for the shop!

I am trying these out so my first order was small.

(In other words, if you see something you can't live without, stop in before it's gone!)

New Diaper Bags and Quilted Totes!

I just ordered a new line of bags for Abigail's! I'm so excited to get these in the shop. They should be in by this weekend. The bags range from $24.99 to $29.99 for the 3 piece diaper bags.
I also ordered some sparkly jewelry.
Crowns, keys, skulls, and hearts with wings and the cutest bib style necklace...I'll tell you more about those later. Hopefully they will be in for this weekend also!
